Actually, I know someone who probably has one of these since she is deaf. It would scare the living daylights out of me.

My deaf neice uses a small version of this. Me personally, I would very likely get used to it, and let the shakin’ lull back to sleep. I have to use an old fashion bell alarm clock, and even that sometimes gets a smack across the room.

Perfect for someone I know, who has to set 3 different alarm clocks each night because he sleeps so heavy!

That’s hilarious! I can see its usefulness for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, though.
